Transforming higher education through research, advocacy, and critical pedagogy.

About Mary

As a passionate education sociologist, my work bridges the intersection of social justice and pedagogical reform. I bring over a decade of experience in higher education research, policy advocacy, and community engagement — working with institutions, NGOs, and international organisations across multiple continents.

My scholarship centres on international student mobility, decolonisation of curricula, and the transformative potential of critical pedagogy. I believe that education, when practised with intentionality and equity, is one of the most powerful forces for social change.

I am committed to creating learning environments that honour diverse ways of knowing, challenge systemic inequities, and equip educators and students alike to become agents of meaningful change.
